Which Candle Do I Need?

Love the idea of candle magic but aren’t sure which candle best fits your goal? This guide organizes our most popular fixed candles according to intention so you can quickly find the work that most closely matches what you want to accomplish.

Once you have chosen your candle, you may have it shipped to you fixed and ready to burn, or choose Setting the Lights and have Katrina perform the candle working for you on her personal altar.

HOW ORDERING WORKS

Fixed glass candles shipped to you are $21 each within the continental United States, with shipping included. Your candle arrives prepared, empowered, and ready to light, with instructions for use.

Setting the Lights is $40 per candle, including the candle itself. Katrina prepares and prays over your candle, burns it on her personal altar, monitors and energetically empowers the working throughout the burn, and sends photographs along with a detailed personalized report interpreting the completed burn. The report discusses significant signs observed during the working, what they may suggest about your petition, and recommendations for additional work when appropriate.

If more than one candle seems appropriate, that is not unusual. Magical intentions frequently overlap. Choose the candle that most closely matches your primary goal or the one you feel most strongly drawn toward. If you still aren’t sure, email Katrina and she will be happy to help you choose.

How many candles will I need? There is no predetermined number. Some intentions appear to respond readily to a single working, while complicated or resistant circumstances may benefit from reinforcement. More candle work is not automatically better, and additional candles cannot guarantee a particular outcome. If Katrina is Setting the Lights for you, she will include recommendations in your report when the completed burn suggests that additional work may be useful.

Do I need to burn a shipped candle continuously? No. You may burn it continuously or extinguish and relight it as necessary. A continuous burn is traditionally preferred when it can be done safely because it maintains steady momentum, but candle safety always takes priority over magical considerations. Never leave a burning candle unattended or burn it in unsafe circumstances.

How long will the effects last? Candle magic has no universal expiration date. Every situation is different, and circumstances, choices, resistance, and outside influences can continue to change after a working. Some intentions may benefit from reinforcement over time; others may not require additional work.
